Vistaprint coupon: 50% off all calendars - During this Halloween season, as you are dusting off your movie-quality Chewbacca mask, it’s definitely scary to realize that there are less than 80 days left until Christmas. While wall calendars are an amazing personalized gift to give, they do take a bit of planning and time to create.

Why wait until the mad rush of the holiday season to throw something together? The kids are back in school and your life is currently somewhat normal. Now is the perfect time to spend those extra few minutes you have to spare on creating that “one of a kind” gift and take advantage of some online offers including this one at Vistaprint.com. (get wall calendars from $7.99 each with coupon!).

vistaprint_calendars2Vistaprint offers a number of discount calendar options, with their wall calendars being the most popular this time of year. However, if you are a small business, consider their desk calendars, magnet calendars, pocket calendars, and poster calendars as well. Click here to see all of this week’s coupons for Vistaprint.

Anyway, back to wall calendars. Your first step will be finding and organizing your photos. If you’re like me, you have digital photos all over the place. Some on your computer in different folders, some still on your camera, some still on your phone and some your friends took and still have. Don’t forget to locate that CD that the photographer sent you of the most recent family photo shoot, and if you have school age children, school photos from community websites are great places to start.

Next create a specific folder on your computer to put all your wanted photos in. Don’t worry about choosing just 12 for the moment. You can narrow it down later. Throw in there all the ones that you think will invoke emotion for the intended gift receiver.

Now’s the time grab a coffee and take a trip down memory lane. This is by far the most part of making this gift. Open the wall calendar folder and rehash special moments, write down memories, and look for photos that are the clearest. You want to avoid fuzzy pictures, shadows and low-resolution ones. Fix any red-eyes and edit the chosen pictures so that they are centered. Delete all photos except the 12 that are going to make up your calendar, plus a few extra as some online print shops will allow “collage” months or added pics through-out the month squares.

You should now be ready to shop for an online print shop. Some great places to consider are Vistaprint and Snapfish. (click for coupons, it’s a great option) While either one is great, you can’t beat Vistaprint’s current 50% off calendars sale that is ongoing.

I know that Vistaprint currently has a 50% off sale going on (‘tis the season to be thrifty!) for their already cheap wall and desk calendars as I’ve just started this process for myself. At this price, I’m sending 5 of them this year. Click to view their design options.

Most online print shops have an easy to follow procedure for uploading your pictures, so this last step shouldn’t take you too long. Now that you already have your photos organized, the hardest part will be choosing a style, size and paper choice for your calendar. If you are a small business, also consider Overnight Prints, PrintPlace, PsPrint.com, and 123print for calendars in addition to Vistaprint.com, which is usually the cheapest of the bunch.

And the best part of all this is, by starting now, you won’t have to pay up for next day shipping! (Vistaprint has at least one promotion running for free shipping, although you will have to spend at least $25-50 on your order to qualify) And you’ll be done the bulk of your Christmas list by November 1st. Now that’s something to rejoice about.
